Together. Gives a whole different vibe with Aya added…

Originally just Razer as I imagined him reacting after Aya’s “death” in Loss; hardening and ignoring his sadness(this time, baby, I’ll be bulletproof). As we saw in Cold Fury, he went a similar route when Aya returned and, instead of being happy that she was back, he distanced himself from her to prevent getting hurt again and, in the process, hurt Aya without realizing it. When Aya then goes and shuts off her emotions and becomes corrupted, she says she’s without emotion but she’s not. She is very obviously still wounded by Razer’s words. She loves him, but she’s hurt and acting on those hurt feelings by now rejecting emotion. But I believe she’s still in there, somewhere(Help, I’m alive. My heart keeps beating like a hammer).

THAT’S HOW I FEEL, ANYWAY. These two give me so many feels. ;_;

I so agree with you. For weeks now, this has tormented me and I can't even stop dreaming about these two lovers. They so deserve to be together. But Razer withdraws - each time he feels he can not protect the one he loves, he withdraws - hence the rebuttal. But like you, I also agree that he did not realize the consequences of his withdrawal from Aya. And no one had the time to have a good long talk with Aya about love and the pain of rejection. Of course she is still emotional - she is acting on anger, disappointment, hurt - all these are such raw painful emotions. She is so new to all these emotions and feeling them firsthand means that she has no idea how to handle it. But she loves him, I know she does and he loves her even when he had to reject her, he did that because he could not bear pain himself as you pointed out. He lost two loves already - that's two...how much more can he take it really?

Razer now remains as her only redemption. But whether Aya will survive this, only time will tell and whether they can be together again remains doubtful. It's a really tragic love story

I'm afraid that the story will not come to a conclusion...since its cancellation...and that we are all left to wonder....:( Sigh as with all good shows...no concrete ending

The season will conclude with 26 episodes total, and we're all making a huge effort to get another season of this as well as young justice. I'm hoping the issue of Aya as the new anti-monitor will be resolved in that time, but we shall see.
