For those of you keeping on the ball about the new pokemon games, you'll know they replaced Kris - the first ever female player - with Kotone/Lyra for the remake of Gold and Silver. And now you know is you didn't already!

Random observations:
Kotone's sprites have different eye colors. The small ones have blue eyes, and all the larger ones have brown.
Kris kinda looks like a Nurse Joy/Officer Jenny love baby.
Nearly every picture of Kris I found, the yellow hat looked like a kippah. Now that's all I think of.

I think I now know why they put switched Kris for Kotone/Lyra(or maybe they didn't want to blue haired chicks in a row). I mean, I love Kris(obviously), but the yellow nearly killed me! And yellow is one of my favorite colors! I tried to make it work and I think it came out OK in the end. Either way, I'm proud of myself.

I gave her a pink bag for a few reasons. The first was that there was already too much yellow, so I wasn't going to stick with that trend(the girl players always seem to have yellow bags.). And second because the main picture ref I had of her she had a dull gray-ish bag with a slight pink tint, and that was good enough for me(the image I'm talking about is from her bulbapedia page).

Anyone can use these however they'd like, but please please please! Give me credit! I put a lot of time and effort into these, it'd make me incredibly sad/mad if someone was claiming they made them.

Comments/Critique are welcome. I want to improve but please don't be too harsh; this project has left me kind of weak. lol

This is awesome and I saw it on action, my ONLY complaint is that when you look at her from her back, she looks like she has a double chin or something, the rest is absolutely perfect!

This is nice nothing against lyra but my first real experience with gen 2 was Crystal and I used Kris, not sure what the point of making a new character was
