Y'know, the best part about this costume is arguably that you chose manga-Kris as the main focus.
Did you make the turtleneck yourself as well? And how on EARTH did you get the Pokegear? Any more pics of the Pokegear? Lovely work <3
Nah, I didn't make the turtle neck. That was the only think I flat out bought and wore as-is. <_<'' I could have easily made it, but I'm very very short on time due to Fanime.
As for the pokegear, I made it myself! ^^ Here's a progress shot before it was painted: [link] I used 1" thick styrofoam board for the basic shape, covered it in a thin layer of Paperclay, and painted it with acrylics. :]
Ahhh, that's the same method I used on my VS Seeker. Paperclay is GOD. <3
Those shorts must have been HELL, though. Stretchy fabric is fuuuun. </3 Did you use any special pattern/technique, or did you do what I do and go "LOL I'mma wing it"?
